While in the military, baking was always a weekend hobby to clear my mind, but I knew I wanted to do more with it. In the fall of 2021, after getting out of the military, I moved to London to study French Patisserie at Le Cordon Bleu for professional training. Poore Man Bakery is a home-based business offering bespoke buttercream cakes and cupcakes for all occasions. My husband still serves in the Coast Guard, so Poore Man Bakery will be moving around a bit over the next five years, but you can expect to see a store front some day!
