Hello, My Name is Lais Oliveira and I’m the founder of Kora Kora, a fine jewelry company. Our mission at Kora Kora is to design fine jewelry that’s worn everyday, not occasionally. The idea for kora kora originated when I was searching for… Hello, My Name is Lais Oliveira and I’m the founder of Kora Kora, a fine jewelry company. Our mission at Kora Kora is to design fine jewelry that’s worn everyday, not occasionally. The idea for kora kora originated when I was searching for jewelry to buy for myself, I realized big name brands typically charge 10x markup for their designs and it's not super affordable for everyday customers. I decided to disrupt this model. My curiosity led us to reach out to jewelry manufacturers back in Brazil, where we partnered with an industrial designer who is one of the largest manufacturers there. Since incorporation, we have focused on three core values: transparency, sustainability, and integrity.
