Independent Productions, Inc. (IPI) is a full service booking agency and promotions company that books entertainment, promotes live events and works to preserve the history of the rich contributions of entertainers and entertainment entrepreneurs.
IPI and its founder, Libby Anthony, signatory to the National COPE (Club Owners, Promoters & Entertainment) Conference, Inc., produced five annual 3 day, national COPE conventions, a bi-monthly trade publication, and quarterly empowerment sessions from 1994-1998. COPE funding came from corporate sponsors Miller Brewing Company, Seagram, Bacardi, Anheuser Busch, Philip Morris, R J Reynolds, Columbia Records, and others.
