We accomplish this through the sale and donation of "Bella Bags" - goody bags filled with uplifting surprises and clean-ingredient self-care samples curated from other women-led small businesses. For each Bella Bag sold, another is donated.

Our Story
The idea for Bella Bags was born from my own health crisis in February 2020. I was hospitalized for nearly a week due to a malignant pleural effusion. During my time in the hospital, I was unable to shower and was confined to a bed for days on… The idea for Bella Bags was born from my own health crisis in February 2020. I was hospitalized for nearly a week due to a malignant pleural effusion. During my time in the hospital, I was unable to shower and was confined to a bed for days on end. I just felt..."blah." One day, my husband brought my toiletry bag from home and inside was a small bottle of bright blue nail polish. I decided to paint my nails in bed. This small act of self-care instantly brightened my mood; so much so, that I was motivated to walk several laps that evening! It was in that moment that I realized: self-care has a direct effect on our emotional and physical well-being. The Bella Bags that are donated to women in hospitals and shelters are designed to fill this self-care needs gap.
