It is name after my 98 year old mother that died in 2019. I opened Alcenia's after I lost my only child ( Will Tamayo 111) in a Motorcycle Accident at the age of 22 years old.
I didn't cook growing up. But I knew my Mother was the Greatest Soul food cook I knew.
I had wanted to Produce her Desserts and Preserves for Eight years prior. So after my son death in 1996, I open Alcenia's in 1997.
Alcenia's has been featured Locally, Nationally and International.
