As a licensed healthcare provider, I was dismayed at the level of disfunction that existed in when I graduated from occupational therapy school. Rather than helping patients prevent and heal from illness and injury, I found myself in a system where the patient's goals did not matter. All that mattered was maximizing billing for the company. I started Work Safe Consulting as a way to reach my patient population without having to deal with the red tape of the insurance industry.
