Today's wine retail landscape lives in extremes. The big box retailers carry thousands of bottles of wine, but they have limited education and provide no support for customers. On the other side of things, there are the uber-artisanal stores with selections that aren't approachable to the everyday consumer and staff that don't know how to bridge that gap.
