Chitown native and culinary savant, Tina Gray,
started off just cooking for friends and family while in high school. Little did she know, it was her true passion. A stint in broadcast radio reinforced food was where she belonged, as she constantly finding herself bringing in plates for co-workers. Their daily inquiry of "what's on the menu" led to the founding of her catering company back in 2013 where she discovered food was more than a hustle, it was her true passion. The grit and grind of being from the Chi taught Tina how to never except "no" for anything other than a pathway to the next opportunity. She brought that mentality across the nation to LA in 2015 where she has now cooked for everyone from native Chicago stars like Derrick Rose and Lil Rel Howery to Kevin Hart, Tiffany Haddish and more. What's next on the menu for Tina Gray? We may be looking at the Chi's own Rachel Ray.
Amid COVID-19 in 2020, Chef Tina Gray decided to pivot in her culinary journey and create a luxury hot sauce brand named after her grandmother Ruby. With Ruby launching in April 2020, it has sold out with every drop only promoting on Instagram. From the birth of Ruby hot sauce & Chef Tina's philanthropic background, she has decided to take the initiative to building a distribution/community development center on the south side of Chicago.
