Our small office, conveniently located in the heart of New York's garment district (Times Square) is accessible to all our customers. We provide wholesale trimmings and accessories to well-established fashion houses, garment manufacturers, and up-and-coming fashion designers. Our comprehensive collection includes laces, elastics, buckles, woven labels, hangtags, zippers, beaded trims, and embellishments. Our manufacturing partners are located in Italy, Greece, China, and India. Each season, we have a new collection of trendy trimmings to present to our customers where they sample items for their design and buyer meetings. If the style is adopted, our customers then order a production order where we drop ship from our manufacturer directly to where the customer's garment is being made.
Thacia and Shantell are two black women who worked in the garment manufacturing industry for 15 years collectively before starting their business. They saw the need for a New York-based resource for designers seeking trimmings sources with step-by-step product development guidance and customer service. In April of 2015, Trim Knowtions was born.
