4 years ago, I tested a theory surrounding community and food –if you bring people together over a table of food, communion, you can drive and discuss differences while connecting with a person you never though you would ever have a conversation… 4 years ago, I tested a theory surrounding community and food –if you bring people together over a table of food, communion, you can drive and discuss differences while connecting with a person you never though you would ever have a conversation with on any given day. I started a little food truck, Soul Taco, in a community in Houston that knew either very little or nothing about the Soul Food culture.

We are paired up with a local coffee shop which shares the same values and philosophy we share around bringing culturally different people together and creating community. All the seating is shared seating and gently encourages people to sit together and share a common space. The food we bring to the area has been described as "unique" and "uncommon".

Soul Taco is a "soul & passion"" project. Coming from Michelin Star restaurants
