That means we promote science fiction, fantasy, romance, mystery, young adult, and children’s books written by disabled, BIPOC, AAPI, LGBTQIA+, and female authors. The bookshop is owned and run by a physically disabled woman. We believe positive minority representation in traditionally cishet white male dominated book genres matters. And we back that up with our selection of quality novels.

As a child, I was not allowed to have a TV in my room, so I read while I was recovering from the numerous surgeries my disability required so I could walk, play, go to school, and operate like a “normal” child. At 15, I got my first bookselling job. That’s all I’ve ever wanted from a career, is to be surrounded by good books. Over the years I started to have the idea of opening my own store. In 2015, I did. And after all that time, The Neverending Bookshop is thriving because I am dedicated to positive minority representation in both novels and the authors that write them.
