We successfully ran the truck until 2015, when we were able to open our first (hopefully not only) storefront. We specialize in bringing authentic and flavorful Puerto Rican food to Chicago. The Jibarito Stop is a fast-casual restaurant that mainly serves the lunch and early dinner crowd. Our most popular item is a very unique sandwich which consists of flatten plantains as the 'bun'. Our goal is to expose and inform the masses about the unique and flavorful foods that come from Puerto Rico. We would like to make it as mainstream as Mexican, Italian and Asian cuisine.
