It has always been a lifelong dream of mine to begin my own artisan food business. In 2018 The Granola Guru was born. My mission is to redefine the taste, health and quality of typical store bought granola. All of my superfood granolas utilize locally sourced ingredients, are gluten free, vegan, low in sugar, refined sugar free, and baked with healthy oils in small batches. Currently, my product line consists of six flavors: Mixed Berry Vanilla, Golden Glow (Turmeric & Ginger), Banana Cacao Nib, Classic Hemp, Unsweetened Superfood Blend and Cacao Almond Butter. My personal favorite is The Golden Glow- an antioxidant packed blend of turmeric, ginger, and toasted coconut. My company is minority and women owned. Production has since expanded to a co-manufacturing facility in downtown Oakland where each batch is still handcrafted by a small team of women weekly. I recently signed a contract with Whole Foods and am planning an August 2021 launch to all of the Northern California locations.
