On Symba, program leaders can manage an entire workforce development program in one place. Our customers report saving 5 hours/week by onboarding, assigning projects, tracking performance, and engaging their community on Symba. We're an all women-founded EdTech startup working to create more geographically and socially diverse professional development opportunities. Symba has powered over 5,000 opportunities to date and plans to support over 1 million in the next 5 years.

Our Story
I am a first-generation Iranian American woman and passionate social entrepreneur. Prior to launching Symba, I worked at the US Department of State in the Human Rights Bureau and completed a civil rights fellowship with Congressman John Lewis in… I am a first-generation Iranian American woman and passionate social entrepreneur. Prior to launching Symba, I worked at the US Department of State in the Human Rights Bureau and completed a civil rights fellowship with Congressman John Lewis in Atlanta. Drawing on my personal experience as a virtual intern, I realized the potential of remote internships to open access to career development. Symba arose as a social action project to address workforce development inequity. I currently serve on the Forbes 30 Under 30 in Chicago and volunteer as a mentor for Students Rising Above. I completed my graduate studies at the London School of Economics and received a BA from the University of Arizona Honors College. In my spare time, I enjoy playing the cello and tennis.
