As activists and cultural workers our whole lives, we saw the ones working the hardest to heal, defend, organize our communities are burnt out, sick, hanging by a thread so we wanted to be a source of healing. We started Super Juiced to ensure that folks such as ourselves and others in our community had access to immunity boosting, nourishing foods to help improve our collective health. Oakland has a void when it comes to healthy food options. Super Juiced is dedicated to changing this reality by offering organic freshly juiced fruit and vegetable juices, organic superfood smoothies, healthy breakfast options, nourishing house-made nut milks, light organic produce offerings for the neighborhood, and an intentionally curated apothecary of local herbalists' goods. We hire local youth of color and offer leadership opportunities so that they are empowered to live healthy lifestyles and learn about entrepreneurship. We use local ingredients to reinvest in our communities.
All of our products are 100% organic, we make our own milks and we only use local farms and vendors, the majority of which are women of color, in our shop.
