Gonzales is a community with the majority of our population living below the poverty line. I desperately wanted to bring a store into downtown that would not only attract shoppers from the surrounding metro areas of Austin, San Antonio, and Houston, but could be somewhere attainable for my local community to shop and find furnishings, decor, and gifts. I opened in March of 2018 as a 6 month pop up shop and am not only still going strong, but have expanded twice. We are able to offer great prices on name brand and designer products by selling furniture that has been used in staging and model homes. We also sell fair trade products that support and promote indigenous populations in the USA, Mexico, Nepal, and Guatemala.
