I have made connections with my… I began my entrepreneurship in 2018 with my first LLC HourGlass Entertainment. I own a bar and grill. I have specialized in creating a family atmosphere serving high quality drinks and food (including gator). I have made connections with my community; contributing to Relay for Life, elementary schools, charities, churches, youth and adult sports leagues and other restaurants. I organized events inside my establishment for Easter (egg hunts, pictures with the bunny), haunted house, and visits from Santa (gave a gift and a picture with Santa).
In May 2021, I made the decision to expand my business, creating a new LLC Simply American. My hope is to be able to trademark all aspects of my new entity and have spin off businesses to propel my company forward. My current purchase is a 1 acre property with over 8,000 sq feet building that will be a Steakhouse, ice-cream parlor and a retail shop with merchandise that's only been made in the USA. I am renovating the backyard to have a complete outdoor band shell and 3,500 sq feet seating and playground for children. The community is EXTREMELY important to me and I want to utilize the entire property to ensure that there is something to satisfy every aspect of the community.
Both HourGlass and Simply American are patriotic themed (decor and values). It is who I am as an entrepreneur, teacher, and woman!
