I run and operate a commercial and residential cleaning company in the state of Connecticut. I'm a 22 year disabled Army veteran. I started my business in June 2017 and reason being was that I was getting medically discharged from the military due to my many disabilities acquired while serving so I had to think quick on something that I was passionate about and enjoy doing and it was cleaning so I decided to start a business because I also knew I didn't want to work for anyone again and still wanted to provide an awesome service to my customers. I'm certified as a woman, a minority, a disabled veteran, a small business and DOT Disadvantage business enterprise business. I feel that the grant would help me tremendously in moving forward with expanding my cleaning business.
