The company seeks to elevate everyday rituals starting with the initial launch of the Hand Cleanser & Purifier and Hydrating Hand Mist. The company has goals of being a carbon neutral company in its first year. Using reusable and recyclable packaging also are a key part of the company’s sustainability initiative.

Tiffany and Katy met while studying at Columbia Business School. They bonded over their love of clean skincare and wanted to bring a touch of elegance to mundane rituals. Both have backgrounds working for luxury retail brands and found that there… Tiffany and Katy met while studying at Columbia Business School. They bonded over their love of clean skincare and wanted to bring a touch of elegance to mundane rituals. Both have backgrounds working for luxury retail brands and found that there was a gap in certain everyday personal care products. Preening believes that clean beauty means being mindful of our environmental footprint and using non-toxic ingredients. You can find the Preening team nesting in its Soho office in downtown Manhattan and writing handwritten thank you notes to everyone that supports the company mission.
