Scientific research has demonstrated the brains of 25% of the human population are biologically hard-wired to be more responsive to their environment and to process everything more deeply. We are conscientious thinkers with huge hearts, who care very much about the future of humanity and our planet. Sensitive people hail from every country, every culture, every gender and every age group, but often feel misunderstood and overwhelmed by the pressures of our modern, fast-paced society.
But this being highly sensitive not a problem or a diagnosis, simply a temperament trait 1 in 4 people share.
Once a person realizes they are highly sensitive, everything changes. They begin to reframe their past, embark on an incredible journey of healing, find their voice, and passionately seek ways they can use their gifts to make the world a better place.
For five years, my company has offered individual and group coaching programs, online courses plus a growing and thriving online global community. In August, I'm launching my newest offering, the Wisdom Circle for Spiritual Leaders. This year-long mastermind group prepares holistic, wellness and creative practitioners to expand their platform to another level of reach and impact.
Over the last two years, I've watched my client demographics shift towards an increasing number of Gen Xers, Millennials and Gen Z joining our community and stepping forward in their small area of the world to make a difference. Our community used to be 10% male but now has grown to 30%. Men are embracing sensitivity and emotional intelligence as gifts and role-modeling a different type of masculine leadership.
We've felt the impact for centuries, from leaders who focused solely on pursuing profit at all costs and taking power over, which has led to immense income and other inequalities across our planet. The time is now to advocate for conscious leadership to be the norm, rather than the exception.
Highly sensitive people bring great skillsets to the leadership table – we're deep listeners, collaborative, we make decisions based on long-term impact rather than short-term gain and strive to walk the talk, to the best of our ability. We are compassionate and I believe role-models for new ways of living, serving and being.
Your grant and mentorship program would help grow my business beyond a sole proprietorship, to hire what is now a budding team of independent contractors. I would have the means to market our online community, inviting thousands of sensitive leaders to gather, grow and uplift each other. Each client I walk beside as a guide, discovers their life purpose, then goes on to serve hundreds or thousands of other people in a ripple effect.
Can you imagine what might be possible for our world if leaders in all sectors of society (corporations, government, non-profit, small businesses, education, social services, technology) demonstrated greater empathy and created solutions that benefit everyone?
As you know, humanity is in the process of profound change and my company's mission is to strengthen those who can lead us through to the next, more conscious chapter.
