We bake our cookies at a higher than usual temperature to create a cookie that is crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Our retail bakery is in Downtown Santa Cruz, Ca and we have an online shop where we sell cookie gifts. We are a majority female founded and run, family-owned business.

Our Story
In 1980 my husband was fired from a job and we had two little girls. We knew we wanted to start a business to support our family. I started baking cookies. We put all of our life savings into a bakery in Downtown Santa Cruz. In 1989 the Loma Prieta… In 1980 my husband was fired from a job and we had two little girls. We knew we wanted to start a business to support our family. I started baking cookies. We put all of our life savings into a bakery in Downtown Santa Cruz. In 1989 the Loma Prieta earthquake hit the bay area and our bakery was destroyed. A few years later we rose from the ashes a stronger company. Over 40 years later we are still making the same delicious cookies and now my daughter runs the business!
