We screen foster care youth(and disconnected youth) who get to college on their own merit for our leadership program. We have developed a 3-pronged curriculum which integrates the cultivation of : Leadership/Changemaking,and Entrepreneurship.… We screen foster care youth(and disconnected youth) who get to college on their own merit for our leadership program. We have developed a 3-pronged curriculum which integrates the cultivation of : Leadership/Changemaking,and Entrepreneurship. Students will acquire a toolbox or resouces that will fully equip them through entreprenerual lessons and how to be financially independent and obtain well being and a healthy life style.
They will graduate with employment, learning how to build a tinyhome or purchase one. More importantly they have a lifetime mentor to support them. The site is the original property of the world champion boxers, Floyd Patterson and Tracy Patterson and the training camp of Mohammad Ali and Ingemar Johansson. Students feel the inspiration once they step onto the original boxing ring where our workshops are conducted. We will continue the legacy of this historical symolic entity by working to emphaszie the positive attributes of disconnected youth, challenging them to match the boxer's tenacious spirti and willpower. Our product is a youth who has become the best version of themselves.
