With materials sourced in the USA and handmade in Miami, FL the fun and flirty crochet swimwear collection feature innovative designs in vibrant hues, made from natural fibers with the most used material being cotton yarns. These pieces are handmade with minimal impact on the environment and oceans. In addition, Novados offers a small range of lycra swimsuits and bathing suit coverups, created from US-sourced materials and produced in small quantities to reduce the company's carbon footprint.

With my family always at the forefront of everything I do, I relaunched as Novados which is the combination of where my parents' families are from; Nova Scotia and Barbados. My maternal Nova Scotian side, is where I first began loving the art of… With my family always at the forefront of everything I do, I relaunched as Novados which is the combination of where my parents' families are from; Nova Scotia and Barbados. My maternal Nova Scotian side, is where I first began loving the art of crocheting and knitting. My grandmother and great grandmother taught me to do both when I was 4 years old. My draw to the ocean and swimwear comes from my paternal Bajan side.
