After having the mastectomy and multiple reconstructive surgeries, I did a lot of soul searching and realized I desired to leave my 20+ year career in banking and finance to pursue a more fulfilling career - One where I could make a positive impact on the lives of others.
This lead me to discover the art of restorative tattooing. I became incredibly passionate about helping breast cancer survivors feel beautiful, confident and complete again after the emotional and demanding journey following their diagnosis and started my company, Medi Ink LLC in 2018.
This work is incredibly important as it restores something that was lost as a result of having breast cancer and helps to instill hope and confidence in my clients.
Although I initially became an artist after my own mastectomy to bring joy, confidence and wholeness to breast cancer survivors, I've since grown to enjoy caring for the body and face, not only the space of medical tattooing, but cosmetic tattooing and offer brow, lip and scalp micro-pigmentation services as well.
