Our Story
I always dreamed that one day I would be an author. As a child, my father and I would spend time together making up stories about a crime-fighting meadowlark. When my father passed away, the wonderful memories of those stories served as a healing… I always dreamed that one day I would be an author. As a child, my father and I would spend time together making up stories about a crime-fighting meadowlark. When my father passed away, the wonderful memories of those stories served as a healing salve during the harder days of my grieving process. I began making up new stories for my daughter to keep his memory alive. One day, I was re-telling my daughter the story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff. And I thought, "What if the troll isn't a bad guy? It could be that the troll is misunderstood. " And so Linus was born. Linus the Troll was published in February 2021. It felt good to honor those sweet memories by finally publishing my book.
