Over the years, JDH has helped over 50,000 families going through food insecurity by providing them with a balance nutritious meal. JDH has extended its heart of compassion and hand to families in other countries that have suffered natural disaster as recently as Puerto Rico. Joseph Dreamhouse has sent over 40,000 pounds to countries like Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Ecuador, Haiti, Chile and Jamaica to name a few. JDH chooses to fight hunger with our hearts, by making sure families that come to us leave with their respect and dignity.

Chef Fran was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. in 1972 to a father of Hispanic origin and a mother of French Caribbean origin. She has been married for 22 years and has a son. Chef Fran earned a Bachelor of Science in Child Psychology from Medgar Evers… Chef Fran was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. in 1972 to a father of Hispanic origin and a mother of French Caribbean origin. She has been married for 22 years and has a son. Chef Fran earned a Bachelor of Science in Child Psychology from Medgar Evers College. Chef holds several certifications in various cooking techniques, international cuisine, human resource, and sanitation. Chef Fran studied nutrition and believed it is a vital aspect to one’s daily life of what they put in their bodies for nourishment. Her humanitarian dream started when she joined forces with her church in 2012 to help families suffering from insecurity. Chef Fran took her dream further in 2015 when she incorporated Joseph Dreamhouse CDC into a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit.
