Back then, we were a much smaller operation - our woodworking workshop was in a retired pineapple hangar in the small town of Hāliʻimaile! Working with residential and commercial clients on Maui, Molokaʻi and Oʻahu, we were very proud to produce Hawaiʻi made goods for our community. In 2020, we moved JOHI to California. Doing so has allowed us the opportunity to grow so many ways. We are now a team of four in a 4,300 square-foot facility. To all of our original clients and partners - mahalo for believing in our work! We are a proud business member of: 1% for the Planet, the Good Future Design Alliance, and Bay Area Made.
