I was drawn to visit Art Galleries and decided to host my birthday at an Art Gallery with friends. I was presented with an opportunity to paint and was shocked that my guests were excited to participate. Reluctantly, I also painted on an Individual canvas and literally that experience forever changed my life. I figured there were others who would never consider participating in art activities and began hosting art parties, with the first being at my church. Honey Art Studio is a combination of my passions; helping 'non-artists to explore their creativity, showcase artists work and create an art environment in communities hit hard by gentrification where Black and brown cultures are almost erased.
