We use real ingredients to spin up unique flavor combinations that don’t exist in the market today. “Halmi” is a loving nickname for grandma in Korean, and our drinks are a nod to my halmi’s recipes and the wonderful ingredients she helped me appreciate.

Our Story
Although Halmi launched in 2021, it was many years in the making. As a daughter of Korean immigrants growing up in Queens, NY, I spent most of my days with my grandma while my parents worked. She created a sense of belonging as I tried to understand… Although Halmi launched in 2021, it was many years in the making. As a daughter of Korean immigrants growing up in Queens, NY, I spent most of my days with my grandma while my parents worked. She created a sense of belonging as I tried to understand what it meant being both Korean and American, through an abundance of the most comforting foods and beverages. Memories of my family resonated with me throughout my adulthood, especially during the pandemic when we were separated from our loved ones. One day it clicked - that I could honor and connect with my ancestry and heritage by taking traditional brews and re-introducing it as contemporary sparkling beverages.
