Glory Risers is a faith based youth center. We offer a variety of childcare services and programs to aid our families that we serve. We offer a variety of childcare services and programs to aid our families that we serve. Our childcare services include drop-off care, afterschool, and summer camp. Teen mothers and families experiencing financial hardships are granted childcare services at a reduced cost. Our programs include our free mentorship program. Our mentorship program is for all ages including young and older adults. This program empowers our participants to reach their fullest potential regardless of their past or current life challenges. We act as a guide for them to make positive choices, shape their own values, and reach their goals. Our unique program has a community approach as we select one low-to-no income/housing neighborhoods to share this program with at a time. Working with the neighborhood staff we set up our classes in the actual neighborhoods and even provide free food to the participants after every class. Our community outreach mentoring program provides different resources depending on the funds we have at the time of planning. Most of our outreach efforts include giving that particular neighborhood free school supplies, prize giveaways, food, clothes, and encouragement.
