Our Story
Joanne Jordan and Lorraine Gimblett met at an NYC-based boutique PR firm back in the early 2000s. They shared the same philosophies, work ethic, and interests. Both understood the nature of clients, how to counsel them, how to work with media, and… Joanne Jordan and Lorraine Gimblett met at an NYC-based boutique PR firm back in the early 2000s. They shared the same philosophies, work ethic, and interests. Both understood the nature of clients, how to counsel them, how to work with media, and bend and flex to the changing landscape to achieve success. After many conversations and a quasi-firm handshake, both held their noses, jumped and Food Shelter was born. They believe their client satisfaction, growth and accomplishments are byproducts of building an agency everyone would want to work with and for. They have been making their clients and staff happy for more than 16 fun-filled years.
