Our panties and pads DO NOT contain scary chemicals found in some of the other period panties on the market. In addition to panties and pads, Femwakati sells water-proof laundry bags, menstrual cups and menstrual cup sterilizers. Our packaging is constructed of recycled materials.

In 2018, three pivotal things happened both personally and professionally. Second, I learned about period inequities,… In 2018, three pivotal things happened both personally and professionally. First, started an Executive MBA program at Kennesaw State University which is what I believed was stepping stone to the C-Suite. Second, I learned about period inequities, period shaming and period poverty in both the 3rd world and 1st world while reading a New York Times article. Lastly, my daughter started her period, had an accident, and started middle school all on the same day. I believe my daughter’s experience and the experiences of other girls and women gave me my mission. My MBA program gave me the tools and courage. Over 3 years, I worked with an apparel design company design a panty that works, is comfortable and doesn’t include toxic chemicals.
