Many of our patients are children and families on Medicaid or CHIP. People need to see and being without vision is a functional disability, a risk to safety and a cause for severe depression. We treat eye injuries and have successfully kept patients out of the emergency room - reducing their exposure to COVID infection - during the pandemic.
