CUPs believes that everyone deserves a warm cup of joe in a welcoming environment, despite what zip code they live in. CUPs also believes that everyone deserves a first opportunity and a second chance. Standing behind our beliefs, CUPs intentionally operates within marginalized communities and hires youth, age 16 - 24, with at least 3 employment barriers. CUPs Coffeehouse partners with Project I CAN, a year-long workforce, life skills and leadership development program that serves opportunity youth who live in Baltimore City. In partnership with Project I CAN, CUPs Coffeehouse has provided on the job training to over 250 youth since 2012.
