Often students become certified coders and their biggest hurdle after they put all that legwork in is obtaining a job because they have no experience.
My motivation is my story. This is my passion in my soul because I come from nothing. My parents were into drugs, we were homeless and I was then pregnant at 16. Looking back now, I don't know how I even made it, but an opportunity was given to me where I received a grant to take a coding course. So that's exactly what I did and here we are today. For me to be able to give someone else that opportunity brings tears to my eyes.
The internship we offer is a game changer, most schools help you get your certification and you are out the door with a pat on the back and well wishes. The student oftentimes does not even know what their skill set is. Therefore, we make sure that they are prepared and provided with a professionally written resume. We also use the same education portal as AAPC (American Academy of Professional Coders). However, with AAPC you would not have a professionally written resume or receive an internship.
