By prioritizing the needs of our community during a time of great food insecurity, we began crafting locally sourced, culturally relevant,… Since the Covid-19 Pandemic, we've pivoted our sustainable catering company to better serve our community. By prioritizing the needs of our community during a time of great food insecurity, we began crafting locally sourced, culturally relevant, pre-packaged meals to low income community members in need at no cost to them. Our mission is to provide our Oakland underserved communities with access to healthier food options, food education, and most importantly access to fresh produce to the food desert in East Oakland. Through our strategic partnerships with local non profits, we are able to feed 450 community member each week. Our goal is to secure more strategic partners to continue to fund these community meals. As we build our online grocery store we plan to help solve for the lack of healthy food options in our neighborhood by providing residents healthy ready to eat locally sourced, artisan, and organic goods from POC farms and businesses.
