Our name is an acronym for our… CHOYCES is a for-profit educational service seeking to meet the needs of all youth by providing them with both the academic and creative skills that support their development as thinkers via accessible remote learning. Our name is an acronym for our mission statement, Creatively Helping Our Youth Conquer Education and Success, and we strive to provide students with access to quality education in a variety of subjects within STEM and the arts. Currently, we are in the start-up phase and need funding to continue to provide outstanding tutors as well as essential supplies. Our aim is to use the funds provided by the Awesome Foundation to grow our organizational capacities and therefore reach more students, particularly during this uncertain time when a plethora are at home without access to creative educational resources. Furthermore, CHOYCES believes in equity as a core organizational value. Highlighted by this fact is our mission to service a wide array of clientele and offer services to students from a variety of economic backgrounds. Though we are a for-profit organization, we believe education should not be limited to only those who can afford it. An example of the type of sponsorship we provide includes our fundraising initiative to provide scholarships to students to attend our Summer Dance Academy.
