One in four people suffers from digestive tract issues, but the food taste like cardboard. Cheeky Spices solves the problem of bland foods by creating exciting meals that are fun for the mouth and easy on the stomach. Our products are equally loved by health focused consumers, foodies looking for new, fun things to experience, busy working professionals who are simply too tired of trying to come up with "What's for dinner" and, finally, affluent consumers who are committed to supporting small businesses, especially in the time of COVID.
I am looking for funding to help me form a series of small batch partnerships for the following reasons:
1. To support local businesses who have great products, but lack the means and know how to advertise them to a niche focus group
2. To expand access to delicious foods in the health focused segment
3. To educate and delight consumers who are in search of better product alternatives
4. To protect the environment by creating shorter supply chains and sustainability in the agricultural ecosphere of Michigan growers and farmers
5. To expand product lines and offerings from Cheeky Spices to our direct consumers and retail partners, and those of our emerging partners.
The goal of this partnership is to produce a variety of locally grown foods that are healthy and tasty. As a next step, we would like to collaborate on the following:
1. Popcorn - with Mosby Popcorn from Grand Rapids Michigan
2. Jerky - with Parma Jerky in Jackson Michigan
3. Potato chips and chickpea snacks - with The Detroit Potato Chip Company from Detroit, Michigan
The intent is to pull on our collective connections to create more awareness and offer better health foods variety to:
- Sports arenas
- Independent health and specialty stores
- Agricultural coops
- Online customers
- Healthcare systems
- Learning institutions
