Then the pandemic hit. The pandemic halted business for several months… Challenge Island is a STEM education company that began as a mobile company in 2017. We slowly grew throughout the state of Maryland and decided to open our center in Feb. 2020. Then the pandemic hit. The pandemic halted business for several months as education took a big hit. We are slowly but surely regaining our momentum but need assistance catching up. We offer STEM education to local schools, homeless shelters, churches, and youth organizations. We have after school programs, remedial programs, enrichment programs, as well as social emotional programming that our children in our communities desperately need to bounce back from the pandemic. We also offer birthday parties, kids nights out, and other special events. We do a lot of charity work with our community as well.
