The Center Outreach Programs include a free clothing… Cathedral of Prayer, Inc., dba the Gwendolyn Wilkes Rainbow Center is a multifaceted nonprofit organization, which reaches out to the community, inclusive of the whole family unit and age groups. The Center Outreach Programs include a free clothing bank and food bank, an Adult Day Treatment Center Respite Care Program, toiletries, home care and personal care items, 12,000 annually, this includes hot meals for the holidays, Thanksgiving Baskets, and distribution of nonperishable items to individuals and families. Each year, the Center has provided toys annually to over 3,000 children to include individual families, through collaborative efforts with community organizations, churches and civic organizations through donations from the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys For Tots Foundation and donations from individuals, local businesses, schools and organizations. We have also provided at least 400 meals annually through our nursing home ministry.
