However, our solution is. With the future and long-term thinking in mind, the building style and these pocket communities are something that is brand new to not only New Hampshire, but to the entire northeast. These units are environmentally friendly, cost-efficient are considered “among the greenest of today’s building alternatives” and have a lifespan that measures in centuries. They are more energy efficient and cost less to construct than comparable “traditional” structures. They do no burn, rot or get eaten by termites and the costs associated with siding or roofing is virtually eliminated.

This… As a Realtor and single mom, I have seen and experienced some of the challenges of the affordable housing crisis first-hand. Housing is a basic need, yet many individuals do not have the ability to find suitable and affordable housing. This continues in today’s economy as housing costs have increased significantly faster than wages. The lack of affordable housing is, in fact, a crisis. Based on recent estimates, 47 percent of the New Hampshire’s renters spend more than 30 percent of their income on rental costs and rental availability is less than 1.5 percent in every county of the state. The impact housing insecurity has on individual families and on our community as a whole is huge. I am dedicated to creating solutions for our friends and neighbors.
