I always knew I wanted to be in healthcare. I wanted to make people feel better. My first healthcare job was when I was eighteen. I've played a role in both " front office" and "back office". I have been in the insurance department, office… I always knew I wanted to be in healthcare. I wanted to make people feel better. My first healthcare job was when I was eighteen. I've played a role in both " front office" and "back office". I have been in the insurance department, office management, clinical management, bedside nurse, patient advocate, and community liaison. In every role I strive to do my part to " make people feel better". That may have been answering insurance questions, get a procedure scheduled, or hands on nursing interventions. As much has I have loved being a part of other peoples wellness journey, I have struggled with what a lot of other healthcare workers experience. The lack of supplies, lack of appropriate staffing, poor management, and loss of control have worn it's toll. I want to use the knowledge I have gained over the years to take back my control and get back to actually helping people. I have researched the benefits of alternative therapies such as cryo that can reduce pain, increase lymphatic return, reverse scaring, and aid in fat cell death. After comparing several non invasive devices I have chosen to purchase the Cryo Next Kassen. The Kassen is hand held and portable. It doesn't require a large work space. I would be able to treat sports injuries and migraines along with providing addition wellness modalities. I will be using my knowledge of anatomy and bedside patient skills to again make people feel better but with me as the boss with the freedom to go the extra mile for the client.
