In 2014 I started cooking for fundraisers to put my son thru college. Paying out of state fees was a lot for a single mom with bad credit. But I knew I could cook. I would host monthly fundraisers and sell out every month. Doing that I knew this… In 2014 I started cooking for fundraisers to put my son thru college. Paying out of state fees was a lot for a single mom with bad credit. But I knew I could cook. I would host monthly fundraisers and sell out every month. Doing that I knew this could go further. So in 2018 I decided to take a leap of faith and cleared out my entire savings and built me a food truck. I opened in 2019 and the ball have been rolling since. I now have a fully paid for and operation food truck and thriving catering business. I offer mentoring to young teens in my community as well thru a local high school. This year I kick off my first year sponsorship free cooking classes as well. My community helped me get here so I always give back to show them my appreciation! I’d be nowhere without them.
