This specific event just made me move faster on it. I wanted to start a business that would help black women and girls. And that's where Black Girl Advocate came from. This apparel business is more than just an apparel business, it is a fund of support for black women. I wanted to build funds so that I could practically help black women. All of the proceeds from the sweatshirts go to funding different projects with black girls in the community to help with their development!
