By hot we mean spicy, truly this tea is not for the faint of spice. We launched in March, 2021 with Hot Masala Chai, our version much more bold than any chai you’re used to. It’s spicy and sweet and very good to eat. Black teas and traditional spices are ground to perfection. We are committed to mindful sourcing of ingredients, sustainable packaging and a commitment to honoring our family’s cultural heritage through name and tea.

I'm a tea addict, chai is my absolute favorite and for years I've been searching for a chai blend that was truly spicy, bold and balanced. When the pandemic hit, my go to brand was out of stock for months and in desperation I had to make my own and… I'm a tea addict, chai is my absolute favorite and for years I've been searching for a chai blend that was truly spicy, bold and balanced. When the pandemic hit, my go to brand was out of stock for months and in desperation I had to make my own and that's how Black Drink Tea LLC got started. The name pays homage to my combined black and indigenous heritage. As far as we know no tea company focuses solely on spice and we aim to be taste innovators that bring back bold, exciting flavors and amazing smells to a tea industry in need of something new.
