Bar 5200 got it's name because the owner grew up in the 5200 block of a local Baltimore neighborhood. The home was owned by her late grandmother. While growing up in her grandmother's home she always dreamed of owning her own business. So to pay… Bar 5200 got it's name because the owner grew up in the 5200 block of a local Baltimore neighborhood. The home was owned by her late grandmother. While growing up in her grandmother's home she always dreamed of owning her own business. So to pay homage to her late grandmother, and the home she spent her early childhood in Charleen came up with the name BAR 5200.
