Representing and supporting the careers of over 100 artists, the majority of whom are women, Art for Film works with creative professionals to provide high-caliber, legally cleared artwork for use as set decoration and interior design projects. Art for Film was an innovator in the film, television and commercial industries when founder Jessica Heyman launched it in 2007, and it has since grown to be the largest East-Coast based company of its kind, placing artwork in thousands of films, tv shows, and commercials both nationally and internationally. In addition to our work in set decoration, Art for Film also works with corporate, real estate and hospitality clients to make impactful branding statements with custom artwork solutions for permanent installations, special events and property stagings.
With thousands of images available at a moment's notice to pick up, print or ship from our warehouse in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, we are known not only for our superb client service and the breadth of our work, but for our deep and diverse connections in the art world. We work with over 100 artists ranging from emerging to esteemed, and take particular pride in the fact that over 50% of our artists are women and over 25% identify as African-American, Asian, Latino/Hispanic or LGBTIQ, a rare distinction in the art world where these groups are all-too-often overlooked and under-represented.
