When local senior care companies could not meet the cultural demands of my aging parents and mother in law, I decided not purse my medical career and solely focus on apna ghar.
Apna ghar is the first senior care agency to serve the needs of elderly ethnic minorities in the United States.
As I have continued my journey not only as a caregiver but as a business owner, caregiver transcends all cultures , I have seen the need of affordable caregiving options
Many senior companies have rates of 20-25 an hour which many families can not afford, we have kept our rates affordable, so a once luxury service can now be afforded by the masses, many of these senior care agencies do not want to serve in the inner cities of the untied states but with our affordable rates we can offer these services in those communities many seniors do not qualify for Medicaid or other government programs we want all our elderly to age in place with dignity and respect. Families should not be reprimanded financially to care for their loved ones at home
