Allen-Griffin, this Transition House is for females that are homeless, and/or released from prisons and county jails. Allen's Home of Hope, Inc. has decided on taking a collaborative approach to empowering self-sufficient, independent women in being a positive presence in their respective communities. To attain these goals, Allen's Home of Hope, Inc. Will offer training (courses) in Personal Development, Vocational training, Substance Abuse counseling, Interpersonal Skill building, and GED (preparation). Also, we will have a mentorship program to include faith-based initiatives. Because of the long-term goals, we are offering a length of stay at our transitional home between twelve months to eighteen months to ensure an attainable success rate.
