We… I founded a peer-to-peer bereavement support organization with 250 trained volunteer grief mentors who are on-call from around the country who lost loved ones in past disasters who provide hope and inspiration to help others through their grief. We pair mothers to mothers, orphans to orphans, spouses to spouses, siblings to siblings and other relationships lost to help the grief stricken who call us for help. I founded the organization in 1996 after long my fiancé aboard TWA Flight 800 which crashed in Long Island out of JFK airport to ensure that no one has to go through their grief alone without the comfort and care of someone who has been there. Our 250 Volunteer Grief Mentors, who have all lost loved ones themselves provide hope and inspiration of survival to those who are just beginning their journey through grief.
